Mariya Kotova graduated with her Doctor of Pharmacy in 2018. She completed her PGY1 Acute Care Residency in 2019 at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center and her PGY2 in Pain Management & Palliative Care at University of Florida Health in Jacksonville in 2020. She completed the ASHP Pain Certification Program in 2021. In her current role as a Senior Clinical Pharmacist at UC Davis Medical Center specializing in ambulatory care chronic pain management, Mariya works in collaboration with UC Davis to recommend safe, effective, and individualized pain medication management.
