Ralph Satija is a high school student at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory in Houston, TX, with a deep commitment to neuroscience, clinical research, and health equity. He is the founder of the Neurology Club at Strake Jesuit, where he leads initiatives such as Alzheimer’s awareness workshops for seniors. Ralph has completed clinical internships in neurology and pain management, where he gained hands-on experience with neurocognitive testing, EEGs, and interventional pain procedures. His research on intrathecal pain pumps and opioid alternatives reflects a strong interest in bridging technology with patient-centered care.
He earned first place at the Rice University MedHacks for developing an AI-based maternal health tool for low-resource settings and has published community-focused articles with Buzz Magazines. A nationally ranked debater and published poet, Ralph blends scientific rigor with a passion for communication and advocacy. His future goals lie at the intersection of medicine, public health, and innovation.
