I am the Medical Director of the Dean Stroud Spin and Pain Institute at the Shepherd Center. With over 20 years’ experience as a clinician and 18 years’ experience working in the neurorehabilitation field, I have a thorough understanding of the unique challenges individuals face relating to chronic pain after neurological injury or disease. I am committed to improving these individuals’ quality of life by helping them manage their pain using comprehensive techniques, not only pharmaceutical or surgical intervention. I have led multiple research projects related to chronic pain in this patient population and have presented posters and provided my expert opinion on various committees throughout the years.
