Dr. Andrea Hunt directs the music therapy program at Rowan University and conducts clinical research at the Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine. Her clinical work draws from her training as a Fellow of the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music and her experience working in inpatient psychiatric, skilled nursing, and addiction recovery settings. Her current research involves integrating EEG and mixed methods approaches with a trauma-responsive and social justice framework to develop and investigate patient-centered music-based supports for chronic pain.
