Prof Rebeccah Slater holds a Statutory Professorial Chair at the University of Oxford, and is a Professorial Fellow at St. John’s College, Oxford. She has degrees in Physics (BSc, Imperial College) and Neuroscience (MSc & PhD, UCL). Since 2013 she has led a multidisciplinary, internationally-respected research group focussing on the measurement and treatment of pain, using advanced brain imaging tools. She works in collaboration with industry, regulatory bodies and charitable organisations to bring academic networks together to develop new insights. Her work spans child health, adult well-being, pain care and gender parity in consumer health.
