Megan Sweeney, MA, MPH is a clinical psychology doctoral candidate at Loma Linda University's School of Behavioral Health and a certified clinical research coordinator at Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine. Her research interests focus on biobehavioral and integrative approaches to chronic pain management in pediatric and young adult populations, as well as the relationships among stress and broad health outcomes among women in the perinatal and postpartum period. By completing an undergraduate degree in neuroscience at Boston College, and a Master’s of Public Health at UC San Diego, Megan has cultivated a commitment to reducing health disparities through community-based research and clinical care. By conducting clinical and translational research for 10 years, Megan has received research grant funding through several nonprofit organizations and has published over 35 peer-reviewed manuscripts. Megan strives to empower individuals with chronic conditions and their caregivers through evidence-based behavioral approaches, education, and research.
