Suma Gopinathan, PhD is an experienced R&D leader with in-depth expertise in clinical pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, metabolism, translational sciences, and small molecule drug discovery and development. Currently the Vice President of Clinical Development at Lexicon Pharmaceuticals, she has successfully led multiple programs from lead generation through clinical development; several successful IND submissions and three global NDA submissions. Her therapeutic areas of expertise include, but not limited to, pain, oncology, metabolic diseases, and glaucoma.
