Jovana Lubarda, PhD, is currently the Director of Clinical and Educational Strategy at Medscape, a division of WebMD, where she works with the passion and pursuit of translating clinical practice gaps into education for healthcare providers. A self-described science nerd with a business mind, over the past 12+ years, Jovana has been involved in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and molecular diagnostics industries in roles ranging from regulatory affairs, R&D, strategic consulting, marketing, and sales. Jovana’s current areas of expertise include psychiatry, dermatology/aesthetic medicine, gastroenterology, and ophthalmology. Jovana graduated with a doctorate degree from McMaster University’s MiNDS program, where her research focused on investigating diagnostic biomarkers for Parkinson’s disease.
