Adam C. Powell, Ph.D. is a healthcare economist. His specialty is using quantitative techniques to examine issues concerning healthcare technology, quality, and operations. Dr. Powell holds a Doctorate and Master's degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he studied Health Care Management and Economics. He also holds Bachelor's degrees in Management Science and Writing from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Powell has taught Master's-level courses on health economics, healthcare supply chain management, global health, health informatics, and health sector consulting at Boston University, the Indian School of Business, MIT Sloan, Northeastern University, and Thomas Jefferson University.
